we're learning how to renovate our 120-year-old farmhouse located in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. here are the before and after photos to document the changes and all of the challenges in between

Big progress is being made in the kitchen as all of the remaining pieces start to be installed. Cabinets from Pacific Crest are in nearly all in place and the PaperStone (made of recycled paper and a resin that hardens and make it tough stuff) countertop is partially there. Plumbing and electrical will happen in the next week or two, so the sink, dishwasher (it was fun, but we’re so getting ready to end our 10+ year streak of hand washing dishes), toilet, pedestal bath sink, outlets, lights, and switches will be in the next photos hopefully.
