Sorry for not posting in a while, but we’ve been too busy to take photos. Two weekends later and we’re now in color! Yay! The wonderful 4” American Cherry flooring is in and finished with a first coat, but now it’s covered up while the rest of work is done. Sorry, but you’ll have to wait. Trust us, they look good.

After hours of painting, we’d like to give a shout out to American Pride paint, from EcoHaus. Never before has such a patriotic product actually been so superior. The stuff is no-VOC (so you’re less likely to die halfway through the job), extremely low odor, and it covers super, super well. I mean, it’s sad that we get this excited about paint coverage, but hey after 20+ hours painting, you start to care about these things. Oh, yeah, and it’s really cheap compared to the other low or no VOC brands. Check out $29/can compared to the $50 or $60 some other brands are going for that shall remain nameless.
