Demo Time!

With most of our family having left after a wonderful visit during the holidays, we started tackling the big demolition of the middle floor. Pretty much it all has to go. Walls that were built over the years to divide the space, a full bath that made no sense next to the kitchen and was built with wood that (surprise!) started to then rot. For the past week, we’ve put in 8-10 hour days with a crow bar in one hand and a hammer in the other. For breaks, we load up our truck and head to the nearby transfer station to get rid of what we’ve demolished. We’ve decided that we enjoy demolition much more than finish carpentry!
